A few haircuts in the mix of things.

The cousins playing outside on Poppa’s pile of wood.

Our family came together for a great time together. It always makes me wish that we lived closer to one another so that I can have my hands on everyone on a daily basis. Tawnya didn’t get to be with us and can’t wait to see her, but the rest of the clan was here. We got to meet Isaiah for the first time and he is precious. He fell right into the cousin mix beautifully. The weather was not spring weather it was so COLD, it didn’t stop the kids from being out in the cold playing. We went to church together and got to see several friends there as well. Of course we ate, ate, ate. Jenay and I had a couple of good runs. It was fun being in Mom and Dad’s home just hangin’ with them. It had been awhile and I missed them!

You know, God is good and has so blessed me with some amazing creatures whom I get to call MY FAMILY!

Mama D.'s Dozen - Love the Easter pic. I’ve looked at so many blogs and seen the “all new beautiful dresses” and matching outfits on everyone. For our boys, their Easter attire was “jeans without holes and shirts that aren’t t-shirts”. Looks like your boys and mine would fit right in together.

So fun to have family to get together with. My kids don’t really know any of their cousins. Can’t wait ’til they all have kids and we have a house FULL of cousins.

One of my Big Girls came for the weekend. She, too, asked for a haircut. Mama’s always got to have the scissors handy when the Big Kids come home. When we moved to the island, one of the Big Boys said, “Guess I’ll have to find someone else to cut my hair.” To which I responded, “Um … no … guess you’ll have to come visit mama at least once a month.” 🙂

Hope your week is BLESSED!!!

Tawnya - Love the pictures. Can’t wait to get there for Lolly’s graduation. It is going to be a wonderful time. So much to be grateful for. I really can’t wait to get my hands on each of my nieces and nephews. It has been too long:)
