no fear, no FEAR!

Ok, I start with a ‘disclaimer’ to this posting right off of the bat. If any of you feel I am not capable I have proof that I still have a 14 year old who has been under my care and he’s still alive, thank you very much!
I went into the house to put groceries away, in and out of the car, keeping the back door wide open the whole time for Jordan (I thought) was riding his bike under our carport. The next thing I know, I hear on my roof, pitter patter, pitter patter, back and forth, I thought, “what the heck?” I go outside to find my son standing on top of my roof top jumping up and down yelling, “look at me, look at me!!!!” I yelled at the top of my lungs but in a very clear manner, “FREEZE. DO. NOT. MOVE., DO. NOT. MOVE. STAY!” (and that is when I ran to my car to grab my camera, take a picture) and finish yelling at him, “GET DOWN NOW!!!!!!” Of course he got the lecture of his life when he came down. He explained later to his dad it was “dangerous and he would never do that again because he might die” (of course I am not sure if he was getting the whole picture and he was only getting that I might kill him or if he fell off of the roof it would kill him but anyway either way….it was effective)
He moved his bouncy horse to the tarp covering over next to my salon, climbed onto it, and from there went onto the roof. This child, I mean it, he has no fear! This same day he swam clear across the pool without a breath all by himself, this kid has no fear!

Jenay - Jordan, You freak me out…but I’m glad your mom got a picture to prove it first…and then the lecture!!! Kids like you and Luke and Reece for some reason, can do those dangerous things, and you are fine,,,it’s the mommy’s that have the problem….ie: the heart failure.
Love you,

Auntie Nay
