Francis Chan – Balance Beam

Oh My! I just saw this on one of my bloggy friend’s website. Soooooo goooooood!!!! This is Frances Chan, I listen to him often and JUST finished ‘Crazy Love’ written by him. I would say this message on this clip wraps up the book. It sure challenges you to a new place of where you are at with the Lord and how far you would go with Him. The book isn’t that big but it took me a while because I had to let it sink in, in so many places. As my sis’s favorite quote is, “it was hard but good.” That would sum this book up. Does this challenge you like it did me?

Mama D.'s Dozen - Haven’t watched the clip yet, but the Lord used the Crazy Love book to bring about HUGE changes for our family a year ago. I read it; my husband read it; we bought copies for all of our Big Kids to read. Amazingly insightful! My sweet hubby even did a 2 month sermon series on Crazy Love.

This year’s book for our family is Radical, by David Platt. Sweet Hubby is doing a sermon series based on that book, right now.

No … he doesn’t ordinarily use books as the basis of his sermons. But, once a year he may throw in a short book series between sermon series’ based solely on Scripture. 🙂

Gotta go watch that video …

Laurel 🙂
