Ruby enjoying the warm summer day!
Clara, our friend, sitting back and enjoying the day as well.
Kissing one another, literally, best buds……….
The norm around here is one or more kids from other families over here. MOST of the time it is tough to send whoever we have back because we like them around us. Almost two weeks now we have had a visitor that we have fell head over heals with and do not want to give back when the time comes.(we will, we will) Our friends entrusted us to their favorite hairy member of their family. Her name is Clara. Doesn’t that go so good together with our Ruby. Well, these two are two peas in a pod. They love to play together, chew on bones together, run for balls together….they have had a BLAST! I thought they would get sick of each other at this point, but no can do. There has only been ONE issue. The other night Jim was sitting by our bon fire, Clara took the chance to go sit next to him so Jim was scratchin‘ her between the ears, when Ruby mustered up a little bit of jealousy and decided to fight with Clara for her, what she thought her place was with Jim. After Jim recognized the problem he was sure to scratch one ear and then go to other and scratch another. It really has been fun to baby sit a dog and not a kid for a change. Don’t get me wrong, I still go for the kids as much but this has been a delightful few days for all!
Thanks Arneson family for sharing Clara with us. We will take her any day. We might have to plan play dates, for Ruby is going to have withdrawal symptoms when she goes home.
