I went to a service today…it brought me right back to when I was a child. It was an older gentleman who spoke on ‘salvation’. He had a great message, simple but strong with good humor in between. The worship, we sat as a family together in service and broke off before the sermon. We sang a hymn that I knew by heart but couldn’t sing it, just close my eyes and choke down the tears. It felt homey in the building and like I was around people who knew one another well, for when the service ended people stood around and just enjoyed one another. It all felt so normal, so what I know, but yet foreign too. I am grateful that the Lord brings us to places we never have been, yet familiar too. I think as long as He is amongst and His Holiness resides, it’s where we should be, in His presence………

Amy Sullivan - There is something comforting in all of this.

I love modern music, but I also love hymns. Just think about all of the people who have stood before God singing the SAME songs we are singing now. Something about that gives me chills.

Casey Martinez - So glad you enjoyed your servicE! I really enjoyed ours yesterday too. It was all about be generous givers of our time, money, talents etc. It is such a great way to shine our lights! God also cares about blessing us and he cares about our needs and He meets us where we are at. He is so faithful! God bless you today!

Lindsey - Amen! God is so good to give us that comfort we need in places we have never been. You can definitely tell the difference. If others don’t share in God’s goodness and you can’t feel his presence then it’s definite spiritual warfare making it for a tough time to enter in or even understand what is being spoken.
