not a lot to say….

I keep thinking, “I need to write a post!” I keep going back to, it seems, I just don’t have much to say right now. Yah, a rare moment, I know. My creativity is still kicking in for I’ve done some great hair in the salon the past couple of days just not a lot to say. I haven’t even talked to the sister’s too much recently but they laugh for they have seen me in this mode before, for when I homeschooled before they thought I fell off the face of the earth, they didn’t hear much from me then as well. I’m not really overwhelmed but just trying to stay on top of all the happenings. So thought I would make up a little reminder of the happenings this week that keep me so engaged I don’t have much time for too many words.

homeschooling, it keeps me focused and using my brain where I don’t usually use it.Converting killograms to whatever? Yah, that kind of stuff. Or even just sitting with Corvan and counting money back and forth over and over. The preparation for the next thing….

Jim is working soooooo many hours this week. Trying to finish up a job, lots of time and pressure on the job for him. Trying to be graceful to when he gets to sleep during the day by being quiet.

Football practice 3 nights a week for two hours, games on weekends.

Working on a refinance, good thing, but creates putting papers together that I don’t usually have to do, making phone calls that I don’t usually have to make, trying to get together with husband (this week anyway) to work on it, seems a task.

Allergies, since all this humidity this week, my ears are screamin’ for help all of the time!

The month of October is crazy, I cannot look forward too far or I might…I just might…

All of these things are not bad things just keeping me quiet I guess. So, I will talk to you later ok?

Cheryl @ On the Old Path - Well I think we all have moments like that, but I am glad for the update as I was wondering how things were going. Life sounds busy. Our October is shaping up to be a busy one too. Between Dave’s work and Joel’s hospital stays I think I’ll see Dave(for more then a quick hello / goodbye) sometime in the middle of October. I think I am already looking forward to November. Good to hear from you!!!

Leanne - I’m glad for the talk, too. Thanks for that. And speaking of doing great hair, I need you to do some great hair on my head in the next week or two. Maybe a morning soon? I’ll call ya! 🙂

Mama D.'s Dozen - My blog has been silent, as well. Not a bad silence … just a pondering silence.

Getting back into the swing of things after being gone on a 6 week 9,000 mile Road Trip. Jumping right into homeschooling. Still trying to figure out where we are supposed to be living. And the husband? Only home 3 days a week (and working on those days, as well).

Good to hear from you. Hope you have a BLESSED weekend!

Laurel 🙂
