blessed beyond!

How is it that a girl can feel as blessed as I do at this moment? You know, I know that we cannot take things with us when we hit the heavenlies and who would want to right? And I know that
Luke 12:34 (New Living Translation)
34 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
I do love my Lord. I read all thru the bible about giving up your treasure to give to the poor and give it all up to follow my Jesus. I want to do whatever it is that He asks of me, be obedient to that call, that I am willing no matter what the circumstances to pick up and walk where He would have me go.
So, as I shared, my parents are moving out of their home. The couple buying their home is going to use my folks home to share Jesus in. They are going to have women’s retreats there, perform marriages, it is going to be an extension of what it has already been used for with my folks in the home and that is to glorify the Lord. It is a beautiful thing that this gorgeous setting that my parents live(d) in will be used for public use to feed people spiritually, give people rest in Him, where people can go and find restoration.
While moving my parents they can no longer keep some of the furniture pieces that they have. The sister’s are not in a position to take it, so therefore, guess who is honored to have it?This. is. how. a. girl. could. feel. blessed. beyond. measure. When I got these pieces into my home I looked around and began to sob and thank the Lord for his goodness. Nearly every single thing in our home has been given to us. And it’s gorgeous things that we have, I am overwhelmed by it. The Lord only gives good gifts and at this moment I truly see this. I know that ‘things’ are just an earthly pleasure but at this moment as I was looking at my home I promised the Lord that not only will mom and dad’s home be used to edify Him that with these things given to me I want to give back to Him in using my home as well. I know He gave me a gifting of hospitality and I want to kick it in high gear to serve others in this home. I am a blessed girl, and I give all the glory to Him.
