snow day!

Ruby enjoying it too!

Happy snow from our home to yours!

What a day, what a beautiful day! As we hustle thru schooling this morning we watched the snow fall. There is something about the snow that calms, insulates the world, brings a peace. One of my favorite things to do is to go out and feed the horses in the snow. Early in the morning when there is no tracks, yet just a solid layer of glistening white. The horses are breathing and you can see their breath as they breath. And then sit there and the only thing you can hear is their chomping on that hay. The silence, the stillness, aughhhhhhh, beautiful!
This is the second day of this, the sun is shining, and it is going to be a fabulous day……FABULOUS!

Michelle DeRusha@Graceful - Beautiful snow here, too, for the second day in a row. I actually don’t mind it!

I love your horses…I was crazy about horses when I was a kid. I never owned one…but would visit a barn that was within walking distance of my house. I practically lived there or a few years.
