girl friends, Beth Moore, what more?

Friends, Rachel and Leanne with me at Living Proof conference

There she is, cute as ever, strong in her message!

A fun time with dear friends this weekend. We spent time together in Tacoma to go hear my BFF Beth Moore speak in person! It was a fabulous time of dinner with the girls, great worship, and a good word.

On Saturday night after getting back from Beth Moore, Layton, Brayden, Amanda, and I went to ‘Repossess’ to be apart of a ‘teen movement’ for Jesus! Going from one extreme of older ladies singing the same songs then to ROCKIN’ out with the teens, major extreme from one to another but the lovely thing is…… young and old, we’re all raising our hands and worshiping the same precious God of ours!

A full weekend indeed!

I am so thankful for:
76. girl talk
77. my van ( us girl’s all had vans and we were discussing how we LOVE our van!)
78. dark chocolate!

79.my camera (even though someday a fancy one :))
80.watching kids get excited when worshipping Jesus
81.my vacuum
82.a conversation with husband that makes him tear up
83.clean sheets
84.the smell of coffee (even though I don’t like the taste)
85.playing racquetball
86.a bunch of women praising the Lord together, so empowering
87.getting to know a friend better
88.watching a sweet darling…be newly excited about her salvation
89.kids big enough to leave without any prearranged anything just GO, so that I may go have lunch with husband
90.getting a dream from the Lord
91.getting to do young teen girl’s hair, they keep me on my artistic train!

Craig - I just came over from Ann’s.

First, I’ve never read a word of Beth Moore – but I know tons of amazing Christian women who say she is unbelievable – and that’s good enough for me.

And though I loved the whole list – this one is my favorite: 93.the Lord’s grace (it’s just that without this we don’t have anything – we just live, then die, and either stop existing – or exist in hell – he loves us enough to make sure that doesn’t happen. Can’t not pick this one.) {smile} This was good to read today. Thank you.

God Bless and keep you and all of yours.

Cora from Hidden Riches - Number 88! That one hit me today. Maybe because I saw it this week, too. It was so precious to see the excitement, the awe, and love in a changed life. I did have to ask myself, when and why did I go back to looking “normal” instead of keeping that awestruck look on my face????? Sounds like you have a packed full, wonderful week! Thanks for sharing!
