IHOP

Brock with Grandma Margaret… Isaiah’s first visit with us, playing with the cousins….

It has been 3 years now that I was sitting in a class when a lady I don’t know very well came to me and said, “I look at you and I see this picture…it’s a picture of a billboard with all the names of your family members on it, like fame, it is at IHOP, does this mean anything to you?” I sort of giggled and let it go because quite honestly if I had a pick of places to ‘eat’ it wouldn’t be at IHOP for sure.

A couple of days ago I was telling a friend of mine, as I was doing her hair in the salon, of all the constant going on’s in this family of mine. One miracle after another. A year in a half ago Sister Sha adopted Isaiah from Uganda. My Sis, Tawnya, is pregnant with a baby boy after knowing that there was absolutely NO CHANCE of having another child with Rick again. Shoot, the twins that they had was a miracle! Then, Sister Sha, adopts again, Baby Daniel from the US, and then Niece Esther from Uganda is adopted by Sister Jenay, we just got her here as of Tuesday! Oh, and then on the other side of my family my mother inlaw adopts out of foster care within this last year, his name is Brock. So Lori comments, “WOW, it’s like IHOP INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PEOPLE!” We began to laugh, I even wrote it down so I could tell Jenay about it.

As I was telling Jenay, I remembered this picture being spoke over me 3 years ago about IHOP and knew that the Lord was confirming to me He has been in this all, He is made famous for it, and to Him we give the glory! He is in the business of miracles, He loves to do the impossible, He takes care of the orphan,He loves, He doesn’t stop! This whole thing, as I watch and pray for these situations…it’s all about our obedience so that if we walk in that He will bless abundantly!

Aren’t I the most blessed Auntie around?

Brother inlaw Charlie with his daughter Esther in Uganda. Sha kissing that new baby of hers, Daniel….

(oh, Mom, I think this should be the title of your Christmas picture this year~ha!)
