Yesterday my Corvan turned eight years old. Last night I sat down with him and his album of when he came into this world and I got to tell him how in love I am with him. Corvan is a thinker. There are times when you are talking to him and with a very long pause answers. As his teachers always have told me in school, “Corvan just has this ‘cool’ factor about him,” and that is the truth. There is something about Corvan’s giggle that is contagious, you hear it and you begin to giggle yourself. He loves his brothers and anything they are doing he wants to be apart of.
We celebrated with family. It was so cute right before ‘the party’ Corvan disappeared and when he entered the room…vavavooooom!! He had a button down handsome shirt on and had his hair slicked down. Yawza! It was so cute! He picked his dinner of sweet and sour chicken with rice and I threw in some steamed vegetables with bread. Oh, it was yummy!!!! Then we had an ice cream cake. Corvan isn’t super fond of cake more pie (like his Momma) but he loves ice cream cake, so that is what he wanted.
We went skating, that is always such a hoot. I must say, Corv is doing much better in the skating department, he has it down. Jordan on the other hand, if I wasn’t picking him up, I was on the ground laughing myself silly. Oh, he finally got it down pretty good as long as he was running with short steps as fast as he could. The kid got a real beating that night all on his own.
A real celebration that Corvan is, I’m so blessed! I am grateful:
