A day in the life of Marlece these days. It is all so different but not so much too. It seems the time just FLIES but it also seems more accomplished. I keep saying to myself, “where does the time go?” I have to say, there are things that have been on this list of mine for pretty much FOREVER and I am getting to put a big ‘ole check mark right next to them. Things that linger and hang over your head? They are getting done!
My day still starts out in the dark with chocolate milk and vitamins, reading God’s word with my bible study, to putting the ipod in my ears and going for a run. I thought that I would be able to get this done once the kids got off to school but it seemed like I was just too far into the day and it wasn’t getting done as when I do it first thing! Come home and take a quick shower to getting the kids up and then driving their little selves to school. We have a thankful book that we write in on our way to school and this kind of sets the tone for the day for me and for them.
Once they are dropped off, I take care of the animals, and into the salon for a big part of the day on a few of the days. And then housely duties, you know laundry, making dinner, paying bills, and those extras that I’ve been talking about on the ‘list’. So far, I redid Brayden’s room which was also office/homeschool. Oh, that feels good! Also reorganizing my very small walk in closet. Maybe I’ll take a before and after picture and post it. It’s a bit scary right now because I know this REORGANIZING is around the corner!
My babes get home about 3:30 and run, run, run!!! We eat dinner right now at 4:30. We sit down and eat our meal. I like it, I wish this is how it always was. Make lunches for the next day and out we go to football practices and games.
Home at 8 o’clock to begin it all over again the next day.
Brayden playing with all his might!
Does he looked wiped out? This is a happy picture actually, I couldn’t get him to smile even when they kicked hinnie!
This is Corv after teasing him over making a 45 yard run and made a touch down!
