I have yet to write about meeting my new baby niece, Maezie. I waited for 5 weeks, five weeks to long, but she was just as delicious as ever. Sweet, sweet baby. The boys, especially Corvan was enthralled with her. I would ask if he wanted to hold her and he would shake his head no but his eyes said, “YES!” He enjoyed every minute of getting the pleasure of it.
Nephew Reese, I fell head over heals in love with this kid when visiting. He became ‘my infant’. He came in very early in the morning cuddled his little self chest to chest with me and didn’t move a muscle for a couple of hours. I loved every minute of it! Then, after church he came and sat in my lap, again, didn’t move, we were savoring every minute, it was so stinkin’ cute!
I also got the privilege of seeing my studly nephew play quarterback on the Crook County Cowboy High School team. Every time, I’m just inches away from pulling out the ‘ole cheerleading outfit, but I spare everyone, I do! He is an awesome athlete and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has for his future.
Cousins, of course, had a blast together.
I’ve been fighting a sinus infection this week. A little under the weather, I have been so healthy for years I guess it was my turn.
Went to the pumpkin patch with Jordan on a field trip this week. We had a good time!
These are Jor’s ‘best friends’ as he would say. The little guy to Jor’s left is his bestest. They are two peas in a pod. Solomon is his name.
