{ Redeemed } Guest Post & Giveaway

Hi Everyone, I’m Gina Newberry (formerly “It’s How She Rolls”) and I am really excited to be a guest blogger on Momma Says.  I am blog homeless right now so I am thankful for the opportunity to connect with you today.

I have been thinking a lot about being redeemed lately.  “Redeemed”.  Don’t you just love that word?  Even as I say it, it just makes me take in a deep breath and exhale slowly.  Having been redeemed and also having a hope of being redeemed sets my heart at rest.

As I reflect on my life, and the times when I have been so hurt, I can easily see that even in the darkest moments, God never left me alone nor did he ignore the details.  He was working.  He was using every single thing that I was going through and He was creating something that in the end, would be beautiful.

Isn’t it good to have a promise, that you know will never be broken?  That we have a God who cares about everything you are going through and He is using it?  That you can rest in Him and find peace that surpasses understanding knowing (hear me… KNOWING) that someday you will see how he made it all good. For you.  Because He loves you.  And you are His.  You are Redeemed.

Romans 8:28
In all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.

The Redeemed Collection from {In}Courage celebrates the way God, in His generous grace, sews together every beautiful bit of our lives to form one masterpiece creation after another.

I was given some new items from the {In}Courage Redeemed collection and I just love them.  This is what it says on one of the cards:
Life is a patchwork of the meaningful things we keep with us- memories, moments and connections that serve as daily reminders of where we’ve come from and who our loving Heavenly Father says we are in Jesus.

Isn’t that good??

I love everything in this collection.

I got some coasters which look amazing in my living room and lift my spirits whenever I go to grab my drink…

I got a vintage vase that is etched with the word “Beautiful” on one side, and on the other side is this:

He has made everything beautiful in it’s time.

Do you want one??  We get to give one away.  Yay!  Here is how you enter…

Shauna - I say the word “redeem” “redemption” “redeemer” ALOT these days. I too breathe in and out with it. Something about it says “it’s ok….it will be ok…. Jesus is all in all.” Clinging to that hope… even if it is with white knuckles at times.

I do love this blog. AND I do love this blogger. Headed to fb and I do not tweet.

Cheryl@OntheOldPath - Marlece I am still figuring twitter out and I have no idea what hashtag #indeals means can you explain and I would be happy to tweet away!

April 24, 2012 - 4:18 am

Gina - Hi Cheryl… (In)Courage requested the #indeals be in the tweet so they can track the tweets easily. Any time you add a hashtag # to something it groups all of those same words/phrases following the # together so they can be searched and tracked. How about if you just copy & past this tweet:
