We took the horses to the beach for the weekend! Jim had to work at the last minute for over the weekend. Should I take on my four plus little neighbor Rhee? WHY NOT!! Jim wasn’t able to put on the camper so guess what? We got to sleep in tents. I haven’t done that since Layton was just a wee one and that was the end of our tenting years ago. It actually turned out quite well. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate. The wind was harsh, and the fog was thick, it was cold enough for me to get my trusty winter coat out and wear it. The end of the day Saturday it started clearing up a bit, and we could actually see the ocean.
Corvan trying to make the best of it with the wind pelting his face. When is doing the same thing!
Ruby loves every minute of our adventures. She always makes us smile.
Layton got the chance to fish for the day with a friend. He had a blast and caught a 30 lb Chinook. He was so happy! Layton, he really does like the sea. I asked if he got sick he said not even a little. Is this my kid I ask?
Finally a little sun, soaking it up. I was still in my winter coat. The kids were bound and determined
to get those swim suits on. Whatever!
A little cereal in the morning….Do you love his morning attire? This is what I love about Jordan, he always has his own ‘style’ goin’ on.
They thought they had it ALL when they were popping these suckers in their mouth!
Our camping situation. We had the horses in a paddock just across the way, we camped right in the field of this big barn, the beach was a mile and half away. I haven’t told my dad yet, he’d probably have a heart attack if I shared we had to cross Main St. of Long Beach to get there. Million and one cars and the horses did great ( I was the nervous one.)
Save the best for last….this is us in the evening leaving behind the beauty of this scenery.Isn’t it romantic?
God sure knows how to paint a picture doesn’t He?
