As we walked onto the lawn of a wedding to a second cousin getting married, I had so much anticipation to see family, close and far away, but yet life keeps us from being near one another. This day I got to meet up with them, and it just is never changing, ‘I love these people’!
We always get together with hugs and kisses. We leave with ‘I love you’s’ and my heart it full today getting to be near and around them for a day.
Cousin Deb my forever best bud in my high school years, My sis, my cousin Dewy and on the other side of me Cousin Donnie, that guy in the back with the hat on? Cousin Mark.
This man walking his daughter down the isle with a tender tear, made this cousin of his well up with tears, just knowing this was a blessed tough moment for this daddy to give his girl up.
Giving his girl a hug after father/daughter dance… can’t you just feel it?

This here is my Uncle Don, the brides grandpa. My grandpa and Uncle Don married me and Jim.
Uncle Don has married many people and I asked him how he felt about marrying another couple and his response, “well, I’m not sure, I’ve married many people in my time and some have turned out and some have not and those that have not disappoint me, I feel much responsibility, my name is on that covenant made by two people.”
I love him so.
