Creamy turkey vegetable soup

Do you need a recipe to use up the left over turkey? This is what we will be eating the next day after thanksgiving! This is the recipe I made for my girl friends who came to share the evening with me this last week.

Creamy Turkey Vegetable Soup

3 cups of chicken broth
2 medium carrots sliced thinly
1 cup celery chopped thinly
1 cup of chopped cooked turkey
1/2 cup uncooked wild rice
1 tsp thyme
salt and pepper
1 10 oz container refrigerated Alfredo sauce

In pan combine broth, carrots, and celery. Cook on medium heat until carrots are softened. Add the wild rice and cook for another 10 minutes. Add the rest into and simmer until heated all the way thru.

Add a yummy piece of bread with it and there you have it, YUM!

.I usually double or triple this recipe so I get the big container of Alfredo sauce at Costco It is a real smooth going down kind of  soup.
