So happy to have Mom be the one to be by my side to experience the Nutcracker for the first time. She came and hit a whole bunch of highlights for the weekend. From boys wrestling to Seattle and
the Nutcracker, to the highlights for her head. We got it all in and it was fun, fun fun!!!
So, when I moved here, it seemed as though the thing to do was go to the Nutcracker with your mom. It was like, “What? YOU have never been to the Nutcracker with your mom?” Like I committed a crime. It seemes all mother/daughter teams have experienced the Nutcracker. Finally, I gave in this year and said I had better get with it!
What did I think of the Nutcracker? It was simply amazing, it was elegant and beautiful. One of my favorite parts was that it was such an ‘event’. Everyone dressed up, looking top notch. Even the little girls with all of their frill had cushions for their seat to match their dresses. IT WAS AN EVENT! Mom and I also went to an amazing dinner right on the water. We walked around Pikes Place for a bit with our tea and a french flaky yummy. I have always wanted to experience walking down town Seattle at Christmas because it is so festive and bright! Doing this with my mom who I think appreciated it as much as did was a true gift to both of us I would say.
We got home almost at midnight and had to get up at 5 the next morning to travel to Corvan’s meet. Corvan showed MeMe just what he could do on that mat and she was so impressed.
She also got to see Brayden do amazing on the mat too.
