NOW WHAT? JORDAN!

This kid! He keeps me on my toes.

I went to go run an errand, just left the house, and remembered I left the chili on too high so called the kids to turn it down. I’m talking to Corvan when all of the sudden I hear Jordan in the background scream. Next thing I hear is Corvan (in the phone) scream at the top of his lungs, then Rhee, from next door, SCREAM! I am not getting a word in but hear Brayden tell Rhee to go get her dad. At this point I am turning the car around and heading back home! Oh, and of course the car in front of me is going 35 miles per hour in a 50!! I seriously wanted to throttle the driver, rrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

I asked Corvan and Rhee why the SCREAM and they said the blood was just spurting out like a faucet. WHO KNOWS!

Jordan tripped, and hit his head on, he’s not even sure, but after whatever he tripped and hit, he then slammed himself into the wall. Ok, it looks like a war zone down stairs with the blood on the walls and floor. Dave had him all laid out and checking it out when I got here. It was a deep slit right between his eyes on his nose. In the van we go.

On the way to the emergency room at the hospital I called to see what doctor was on call that night. It was MY DOCTOR, praise the Lord, thank you JESUS, I called him and he met me in his office right there and stitched him right up. It was deep, he had to layer the stitches from the inside out. He was a tough boy!

Jordan told me later, “thank you for bringing me to see Doctor Blackner” Cracked me up, he is such a grateful soul. I love that in him!

Ok, side note, but do you know how much I HATE the emergency room? I am scared of others germs mostly and the wait is agonizing. I know most people are like this but seriously when I was in labor, like bent over can’t walk kind of labor, as in I NEED TO PUSH kind of labor and they wanted to stick me in the emergency room in a wheel chair to wait for my person to bring me up to my room I REFUSED!!! You don’t mess with a woman in labor cuz I would not hear of it, I stood outside and took another way into the hospital with Jim’s help because I wouldn’t put my body in a wheel chair from the ER! So, as you can see the Lord saved me from something I do detest so much, thank you my dear Doctor Blackner, you saved the moment once again!

We are home and all is calm one more time.

Brandee Shafer - Oh my mercy. Cade cut himself in the same spot, once, on my mom’s Bowflex. It did spurt blood like crazy; in fact, I was just standing there, swaying (about to pass out) and screaming when my brother swooped in. No stitches for Cade (very clean cut), but he has a “Harry Potter scar” to this day. Boys. Sorry about Jordan. This is thunder britches, right?
