More fun than what we even bargained for yesterday!
The boys and I headed up with the horses and spent a few more hours than we anticipated in Capitol Forest.
We started out with a nice little 5 miler, came back ate some lunch and decided to go for another short one after. It ended up being, ohhhhhh, 12 miles at least or more. No map, went by the old signs , yah, not such a good idea.
But we had a blast, we were tuckered out when it was all said and done but everyone was on their best behavior, no complaining (accept the occasional, my butt is sore) so much so that after Jordan’s shower last night he asked me to check his little boney behind to make sure there were no bruises on it~ha!
He’s rarin’ to go here!
Corvan and Jordan took turns on the back of me. I love this picture, I will keep it in my heart forever.
Thank God for Brayden, I told him he will always be next to me, helping me, navigating me in the woods, (zero sense of direction out there), patients with me…… HE WILL ALWAYS HAVE TO HELP ME, FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN!
Lunch time! I thought this picture was so funny….Rocket looks like, “if they think I am just going to sit here and watch them eat they have another thing comin'” And then he sat there with this hay in his mouth the whole time as if he was going to take some home for leftovers.
Yum! Right there next to a couple big piles of manure, who cares???
Back on the trail, and here is our fearless leader down the trail, the sequence of pictures coming up cracked me up, right out laugh this morning……
“Ok, follow me…..”
“Come on Wen, GET MOVIN'” (with a kick to wake him up)
But not quite fast enough……….”I said MOVE!!!!!” His whole body is givin’ the ‘ole kick, and if you are wondering it worked we were traveling pretty fast at this point. He is yelling at Wen, “remember who’s boss here!”
Hope your week starts off with a big ‘ole kick in the side too along with a reminder of who is boss, have a great week!
