This place….is the second ‘date’ Jim and I ever went on many years ago.
It is a nine mile hike and we got to be in awe over 9 amazing water falls along the way.
I lived in this area for a couple of years and it was even more beautiful now than I even remember it being back then. I guess I appreciate it just that much more now.
It was fun sharing it with our babes. The two oldest had obligations else where so it was a little weird only having the two. We really did miss them, but it was also kind of fun. It was kind of like before we had Corvan and Jordan and we just had Layton and Brayden. It was some good quality time with them. We had a great day!
I love these boys!
Hiding in a ‘bear cave’, hmmmmm, ya think?
This is a place, that when I lived here right out of high school, I no longer was riding on the fact that my parents knew Jesus.
I grew in Him here more than I ever had before. This is where I formed a relationship with Him. This is a place where I made a life that was surrounded around people who loved Jesus, where I rode my horse for hours by myself, lots of struggles but also a place where the Lord became my very own. I learned to lean on Him, to trust Him, and to cry out to Him, to worship Him, He became my friend.
I am grateful for this time in my life. It was one of the hardest but one of the most precious.
Jesus, I know I have said it a million times, He is such an artist. It brings thankfulness to my heart, it brings joy to my spirit, and it brings peace to my soul. He is a God worthy of our praise. When you see something such as this one cannot deny his absolute amazingness!
