what the heck is going on?

Isn’t life just forever changing? Thank God He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

Football, football, football!

There is Brayden, waiting for his time out there as receiver. He’s gotten some good playing time in on the varsity team. Super proud of him.

He’s had one JV game, he played the whole game and did sooooooo good!

Just have to put this in here! On Brayden’s team at high school, after every touch down our team makes Jordan would run the track once around as fast as he could. People began to catch on and now every time there is a touch down it’s, “GO JORDAN GO!!!!” It totally cracks me up!! My little football player is really a cross country star (shhhh…..)

Do you see the guy that has that ball and all those kids trying to get him down? That would be Jordan…..he put up a fight!

Here is Corvan, he plays on the outside just waiting for that guy to come by so he can smash him. Nice stride, huh?

Ok, so that is what we have been up to MOSTLY!

Along with, Layton leaves Sunday night for his schooling. I know all those parents out there who have a kid that is moving on after high school are shaking their head in agreement when I say it is a FULL time job getting them to their NEXT thing in life. Whew! I think I am still holding my breath until Monday morning when he walks into that classroom!

He did get to go on a trip of HIS life time. He went hunting for two weeks with our kids’ wrestling coach. He had an amazing time. He did not get anything but learned a lot and saw wolf, moose, deer elk, etc….

The boys are adjusting to school well.

A couple of weeks ago Brayden got into the car with me and on the way home said, “Can we go to the store?” So what’s up? He asked if he could ask his girl FRIEND, Nickole, to homecoming. He wanted to ask her the next day. He had it all planned out. We got her, her favorite kinds of candy, he bought a card, wrote inside of it, ‘HOMECOMING?’ He put it in her locker at school and when she opened it up, it was there, with him standing behind waiting for her response.

These two have been good friends since 4th grade. It was fitting that he asked her. He reassured me it was FRIENDSHIP!

Then…….last night, I was sleeping and I was getting the poke on the shoulder and I asked in my groggy kind of here but not really, “what’s up bud?”

“I forgot to tell you, I was nominated to be on the royalty court at homecoming. Good night.”

“WAIT A MINUTE SIRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!……..”

Next weekend is homecoming, whooohoooo!

Jenay - Wow. No wonder I hardly hear from you anymore…THAT IS A FULL FREAKIN SCHEDULE. WHOA NELLIE!!!! Way to go Esh!!!! It may be a full time job getting those kids out the door for “the next thing in life”, but be prepared for your heart to break 500 times in the next year. It is the hardest thing EVER…even if they have been a pain in your rear for the last year…it stings BAD!!!!

Shauna - How cute! I wish I was one in the stands cheering Jordo around the track! That will be a precious memory for everyone. Layo will do great – he looks so ready. Brayden is too handsome – I would go to homecoming and sit between them ;). Corvo is a stud and is clearly a super athlete. Love your boys! Way to keep up mama!
