I have fallen for fall.

I really do like this time of the year. It so gears up with school and sports, but really the weather September and October I also enjoy. Those cool crisp sunny days, I just love them.

Look at the beauty of these trees. Breathtaking!
Does this make you happy? So pretty!
Bona, (grandmother) is so busy this time of the year harvesting. We get in on it a bit too. For years now I have dropped the kids off to make apple juice with Bona’s cider mill. We come home with more than a dozen and freeze them so we can have fresh juice for many months throughout the year.
She also brings to us canned peaches, and applesauce, canned apple pie filling, I could go on and on….we are so dang blessed!
Sarah, Bona, and the kids, it is a team effort!
I have a little confession that I confess to Bona every year so that I may make her laugh. Jim and I were just dating and it was a long distance relationship, so I would come stay at his parents home but have to leave on Monday morning around 4 in the morning to get to work on time.
The first time staying there, I still didn’t know them that well and as I was leaving very quietly from the house as to NOT wake anyone I got a little ways down the drive way as I was feasting my eyeballs on those apples on her trees. I got out of the car like a cheetah, opened my shirt and started pulling apples off the trees fast as lightening, when I couldn’t hold anymore I snuck right into my car, threw the apples on the floor, and sped right out of there as fast as I could. I’m a thief, and I fully admit it.
Now, I don’t have to be sneaky, but it was sure of fun memory.
I think I have fallen for fall.
