Thanksgiving, it brings out the best in us doesn’t it? Why? Because it’s a day of thankfulness. We are all a little more aware of those things that the Lord has placed before us and called it a ‘blessing’.
Thanksgiving spent at Mom and Dad’s always a good time with family members and friends.
When I was on my run a few days before thanksgiving the Lord just showed me, YES, we are so grateful for family, food, friends, the things that this earth offers us but in reality we would have none of it if it wasn’t for the love and character of our almighty God. So, this year, I didn’t go thru the things I was thankful for here on this earth (even though I so am) but grateful of who our Savior is:
One to be worshiped
One to be feared
On and on….this is who we go to each day for all that He has given, including Himself. Doesn’t this make you grateful?
A few pictures of our weekend!
Cousins but friendship too.
My beautiful niece, La, how I love thee!
Grandpa Bill and his daughter in law Jenay. Grandpa Bill and all of us miss his bride Marcella for she went home to be with Jesus a couple of weeks ago. We love Bill and grieve with him.
Pop, love this man!
Look at this darling? I couldn’t keep my lips off of her. (do I repeat myself all the time when it comes to these gems in my life? YES! I do so there!)
Cousins, is there anything better than cousin love? I don’t think so.
Mom, I’m a blessed girl to be her daughter
These two are twins, I cannot look at Maezie and not see Jordan, it blows me away every time. It makes me WANT MY BABY BACK, he is getting tooooooo old!
This is when my oldest is happiest! Shooting clay pigeons is always on the ‘to do’ list for thanksgiving
Cousins working together.
