my baby turned EIGHT!

We picked up the kids from school and off to Jim’s work house that is on the beach to celebrate Jordan’s birthday! I’m almost a month behind in posting, that irritates myself. Anyhow, here we go……

It was a clam dig and we got much more than our limits of clams, check out the beginning of this sunset? If people don’t see God as creative and the most amazing artist, I mean, this was breathtaking all evening long.

Jordan invited to be with us a buddy too.

It is so much fun to watch them dig for these critters, they have to put every ounce of their being into it.

Ok, yah, does it look like he has had too much frosting and enjoying that sucker a little too much?

Nothing better than a good ole hot dog and chips after all the hard work of digging those clams that we get to eat in the morning.

cupcakes were the choice for the celebration.

Then the next day the boys all went  clay pigeon shooting.

As heavy as that gun is, Corvan has quite the shot.

That late evening we went to the indoor water park and came home soon after.

Jordan had a great weekend. I so enjoy this kid of mine. Jordan sets himself to high standards at such a young age. It’s fun to watch him grow into this well achieved person not because he is super smart or super athletic but because he does things with excellence.  It’s hard to believe that he is eight years old……but he knows….. ‘I’ll love him for forever, I’ll love him for always, my baby he’ll be’ .

Janice C. Johnson - Wow, Marlece, do YOU know how to throw a birthday party! If my boys saw this they would complain that I didn’t raise them right.
