Apparently all kids are invited to ‘prom’ in Rainier. Why? Brayden says, because it is so small they need all the people they can get to go. So, ok prom our freshman year. When I was picking him up at 11:30, I was watching all the happy faces come out of the building and I thought, “I’m so happy he wants to be apart.” And, that he is. He loved every minute of it. I can’t wait to chaperon so I can WATCH! ha! Maybe I’ll join, I keep telling Brayden this. My favorite movie,’ Footloose’, come on, I would love every second of it, I could show all of them JUST how it is done! Brayden rolls his eyes when I tell him this. Whatever!
He looked handsome as ever!
These were the friends that he went with. They all looked great!
(oh, and a little funny, these girls did not know they got the same dress until they got together to come out to the house. Um, it was a little shocking for them, but it was actually kind of cute)
We all got into the van along with Corvan and Jordan who were my dates and as I ‘dropped’ the four off at the door I went into Red Robin after parking and pretended that I didn’t know them while the boys and I also enjoyed, from way across the way, our own Red Robin fries with camp fire sauce!
Then discreetly we went and got the van, brought it to the door, texted Brayden that his chauffeur was waiting at the door for them.
Fun had by all I’d say, these kids really are growing up together with being in a small school setting it makes it very close friendships.
Good night, good times!
