summer moves, summer celebrating MeMe

I’m feeling the pressure, as in, summer is almost on it’s way out and then the hustle and the bustle of fall begins.  First, I don’t want to forget the amazingness of it all. This last weekend we went to visit Jim at Newport, OR. An almost 5 hour drive from home. He left one beach home this summer now to another. I’ve asked the Lord, “what’s up with the beach and Jim, they seem to be in sync with one another these days? Living the ‘beach life’ while working for three plus years now. Oh we don’t complain, the Lord is providing and we are grateful.

So, the beginning of the summer he left Westport, WA and this is the home we got to spend time in. Him for work, us to play. (smile)

So, now in Newport, further away but we had a fun visit with him. The folks came down for a night too. It was Mom’s birthday so we spent one of the days celebrating HER!

We love our MeMe, hope she had a good day! I just thought of this. I think it is a gift that Mom was born in August. She LOVES the sun, summer, and this is when her day is as well. Those little blessings we count one by one.

Jim took the boys on their dirt bikes and rode up in the hills an evening, they had a great time.

I feel a little better knowing where he keeps taking himself these past few weeks. You know, now I can ‘see’ where he is sleeping, eating, working, and all those things you do on a daily basis.

It’s easy to just keep doing what we do here at home and forget that he has had to make another new little life for himself again else where. It’s adventure really, now we all feel a little more apart.

marlece - We are Brandee, the coast here always seems like it is so cold in the summer. We plan on going back in the fall. So when it is ugly at home it will be beautiful there. It’s crazy!

Jenay - I’m so glad you did this. Fun times. I know mom loved it!
