I never thought I would do one of these ‘About Me’ pages. I have a vision and sense of purpose for this blog and I feel strongly that it’s not about me. But as I have been blogging and a blog reader for quite some time now, I recognize that it’s important to know the person behind the blog. It’s all about relationship after all. So, I welcome you here and I thank you for wanting to get to know a little bit about me.
My life, as I would like to see it is a reflection of what and how I feel about my Father in heaven. I can’t even express the depth of the love I have for Him, and daily want to be about Him.
I have a husband and four amazing boys that make up my little world.
I’m a daughter to Jesus lovin’ parents, and so thankful to have grown up in a home with three sisters.
I treasure the relationships that I share with my friends. The Lord has truly blessed me in my relationships and I cherish them more than anything. I am a cosmetologist and have been so blessed to work in my own salon right next to my own home. I have always been able to juggle being a stay at home mom and work as well. I feel not only my artistic ways get to come out but I also feel it is a ministry as someone sits in my chair.
I am passionate about cooking! I love being artistic with my food, always trying something new. To have someone (or many) sitting at my table, digging in to what I have made, gives me pure joy. I think that is a reason God gave me boys… they like to EAT! On any given day you might even catch me sitting down to read a cookbook. I love it!
I am a runner and I am working on another half marathon. This is where I put in my headphones, get fed with the word and spend some one on one time with the Lord. This is so good for my soul.
I love to ride horses, I have three and trained them all. So, to sum things up, I am a girl who loves Jesus and I just want to shine in those things that He has seen to gift me with, I am so grateful!
I blog mostly about family, faith, food, friends and hair. While you’re here, please take a moment to say, “hello”. I would love to hear from you.
